We recently had a quick overnight in the city, drive down early Sunday am-saw a show and then spent the evening eating, walking and people watching. Our hotel stay was trouble free, the room was very clean, the associates were very friendly and accommodating, valet was hassle free...it all worked well. Construction next to the hotel made the street slightly congested but it didn't effect our stay in any way.

The room was a king with a sofa bed and worked for our family of three, the cleanliness was noted by all of us and that is important. Room was quiet and we all slept well.

Typically Courtyards have a restaurant or now the new bistro-didn't see one at this hotel, not sure if we missed it or they don't have. There is complimentary coffee on the second floor but I suggest taking a quick walk to a coffee shop as it was not good (free coffee-can't have high expectations).

We will certainly look this hotel up again for our next trip!

Room Tip: ask for a high floor

I stayed in this hotel twice during my stay in ny; first was a 1 night stay on 14th May and then again for 3 nights from 18th till 21st May. Both were business trips and worked location wise absolutely perfect...Luxe pack monaco on pier 92 was easily accessible by bus and so was Javits center for the National Stationery Show!!
Check-in & check-out both times was smooth and real fast!
But beware DO NOT ASK FOR ANY DIRECTIONS FROM THE CONCIERGE, He is clueless and in my first trip we almost never made it to the fair grounds thanks to his advice of eating at Rositteria in Bleeker Street over Hangawi or for the matter of fact Lilli & Loo which were more doable and nearer to the hotel from my gluten free restaurant options!! we ended up spending $$$ in cab fares from hotel to Risotteria and then from there to Pier 92. Crazy day! Even on our check-out on 15th we made the mistake in asking him how to reach penn station for our Amtrak to philadelphia...he very confidently told us to walk to the nearest subway on the west of the hotel crsiing bryant park and take the F train????? He was nuts...we rechecked at the reception and of course the F train didnt go anywhere near Penn!!
The Room was spacious in fact didnt expect this in ny! the view was stunning with all the manhattan skyline visible. Comfortable twin beds, Coffee maker in room made life easier, decent toiletries in the bathroom and free wi-fi was great! the room didnt have a fridge...which was first time for me...But on the whole a very satisfying experience. The hotel does not have any restaurant but many are available in the neighbourhood so breakfast, lunches and dinner were easy walks or subways away. Saw many families with grown up kids staying at the hotel so must be pretty popular for family too!

Room Tip: higher floors will give natural light and view

We stayed a Sunday to Monday for no reason at all. Room was small, expected for NYC. Only compliant was between the noise from the air conditioning turning on and off and the average NYC street noise, it was hard to sleep at night. Maybe the higher up there might be less noise, but it might be more of a concern for others. Loved the location and the service was very friendly and loved having a business center with free access to a printer. The room was okay-- if it was updated, it didnt seem like it was recently but it worked for two adults. And was very disappointed there was no mini fridge in the room. That would be my major compliant, it's nice to have some place to store a bottle of water for later.

Room Tip: Request higher floor, you might not hear the street noise as much.

Very close to Bryant Park which is an oasis away from the crazy of Times Square just a few blocks away. Nice rooms and very nice staff, especially Willie. My wife and two kids loved it, and we'll definitely come back.

My daughters and I stayed here for a couple of nights and I was very impressed by this little hotel. The staff was very friendly, efficient and Willie was especially helpful The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was great. We have stayed closer to Times Square in the past, but I love this location. There were so many things to see and enjoy close by such as the New York Public Library and Bryant Park.

Such a nice hotel. Small, wonderful staff. Easy to navigate NYC from this location. Across the street from Bryant Park, easy to get a cab downtown from Fifth and uptown from Madison. Quiet street. You won't get a view, but you're in NYC, so who wants to be in a hotel??? Only 7 rooms per floor, quiet, great bakery/deli around the corner on Fifth for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. Very small lobby, but that's nice because they know you when you come in. Grand Central is 2 block away; Penn Station is a 10 minute walk if you are so inclined, as is Porth Authority. Buses to all nyc area airports leave 2 blocks away on 42nd and Fifth. Absolutely wonderful. Will stay nowhere else.

Room Tip: higher floors are probably nicer at least for a view. we were on the 10th floor and didn't see...
