I was pretty impressed with this Hotel, the rates were competitive, the location was superb and the size of the room was excellent. Could have done with some extra storage space but on the whole i would say a great hotel. We used the valet parking facilities, unlike other hotels were you pull up in front and the valet parks for you we had to drive across the road to the garage ourselves. I'm sensitive to noise during the night but I had no problem getting to sleep at all.

I stayed here for 2 nights with a friend and although the room was small it had everything we needed and was really just a place for sleeping. It is in a great location, just in front of the Empire State Building, Madison square gardens and pen station. The room was clean and had a hair dryer, safe and toiletries. A lot of good pubs, bars and restaurants nearby in the murrayhill area on 2nd av. Overall, I would say good value for money.

Situated right in the middle of Manhattan on Broadway and 32nd Street, The Radisson Martinique is one of the heritage buildings in New York.

As all hotels in the city, the rooms are smaller as compared to hotels anywhere else in the world (ok, maybe not Tokyo or Hong Kong), but it isn't as though you will be spending too much time in your hotel in New York.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy with good service.

We stayed there Jan. 1st thru 5th. Great location one block from Empire State Bldg. and blocks from Times Square. First night we were there the thermostat worked well. We sleep better in cooler conditions. For the next three nights when we turned the thermostat down below 68, it blew cold air, working inconsistently and affecting our sleep. We should have let them know so it could've possibly been fixed but didn't. We left each morning about 8 and did not get back to room until about 10 each night -- busy seeing all we could fit in, so size of room wasn't an issue for us. Good selection of restaurants in the area from McDonald's to Chipotle to sit-down-and-order restaurants. Staff was very nice and helpful. Never tried restaurant in hotel.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less subway noise. We were in the 12th floor and didn't heat any...

My wife and I were treated to a free weekend from CC points. The Martinique graciously gave a us a room on the 17th (Penthouse 1 - PH1) floor. The best part of that is, there is a lovely lounge where coffee, apples and TV are provided free of cost right off the elevators on that floor. The location cannot be beat. You're in midtown; Macy's is across the street and Penn Station is 2 blocks away. You're next to a subway station (B,D,F,M,N,Q,R) so there really isn't anything you can't get to easily. The room itself was nice: standard size, king bed, nice bath, etc. No complaints there at all; though it could have been a bit cleaner. The service is very good, not great but very good, the front desk clerk who checked us in was a bit rude (her name was Dorothy,) but the one who checked us out was very nice and apologized for her colleague's behavior. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Room Tip: If you want to sleep late, ask for a room that faces the face the inner courtyard. Otherwise, ask fo...

We stayed one night in early December 2013. We booked through hotwire, or maybe priceline, for $300 and ended up at around $370 with taxes etc. We ended up with yet another ADA room as it had two beds, which we requested in our bid. The hotel staff did a pretty good dance to find us such a room on a Friday night. The room was oversized by NYC standards, room 1106 I believe, and pretty comfy with two double beds. The view was interior between buildings. Hotel has but two elevators which make for pretty slow going at rush hours. Bedding, towels, tv reception and water pressure were very good. The staff at the front desk did a good job managing multiple check ins and assorted requests when we arrived early in the am. Lots of international airline crews stay there for what that's worth.
Located on the corner of Koreatown at 34th and 6th it borders Herald Square, so shopping abounds. A short walk to ESB, Times Square etc is a bonus. If you're into Korean food, it's heaven on the corner. Tip to avoid room service, which we did not indulge in, is hitting the Speedy's fast food joint across Herald Square. Fast hot breakfast, sandwiches etc to late in the evening at a reasonable price is a great plus for this hotel.
It wasn't worth $400 a night to be honest, but it was NYC on short notice on a Friday night in prime Christmas season. If you can get a room here for under $300, it would be a good deal. Still, no complaints and we would stay here again if the price was right.
