“An Enchanted Evening”
Reviewed 16 March 2011

We came to Utah to hike and photograph Zion and Bryce Canyon and were delighted to find a charming inn for the night at A Midsummer's Inn. The hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Our room was the "Sherwood Forest" room and was a delight with so many lovely touches to make it special. You could imagine sleeping out in the enchanted Sherwood Forest as the room had a wraparound painted mural with any number of new animals and birds to be found as you looked, even ducks flying overhead as you lay on the bed. One of the themed lamps even had a small lantern as part of it that could be used as a night light. The whole place was cozy, comfortable, and quiet so that the night's rest was restoring after a day of hiking.

But that wasn't all. The lovely breakfast served in the morning included the gamut of orange juice to apple marinated sausage with a fantastic quiche as its centerpiece.

When we arrived they had brochures and recommendations for places to eat in the area and in the morning gave us good advice for unique and interesting attractions in the area. Overall an excellent experience

We stayed in the Sherwood Forest/Cabin room. It was really nice with the painted walls. The other rooms looked quite pretty as well. The morning breakfast was excellent and the service was friendly. The owner likes to share a lot of information with you as well. The room was clean and the turn down service was a nice surprise.

The location is great, near the center of town and walking distance to many venues and restaurants.

This was for our honey moon and we really enjoyed our stay here. Charlene was very friendly and helpful and gave us some other ideas for recreation that we could do. We stayed in the Peaches and cream room and had a comfortable bed and was very relaxing. One of my favorite parts was the delicious breakfast because it tasted really good and had a variety of food to choose from. It was really great

We had the best time staying at the Amid Summer's Inn Bed and Breakfast. The Inn is beautiful and the food was amazing. We felt so special. The guest we met and made friends was an added plus. We have and do recommend this Inn to all of our friends and family.

Really looking forward to going to this year's plays-and staying at the Amid Summer's Inn. I'm not sure I'd have enjoyed going to the plays as much if not for this B&B making my annual trek a well rounded experience to look forward to. If you stay at the motel, you have to travel to eat & the rooms are fairly basic. Here, the home cooked meals are delicious, served by gracious hosts, and ready when you wake up! :) The rooms are so imaginative they make coming back from your daily fun outings a comfy, warm experience. The Inn is walking distance to the Shakespearean Festival just a few blocks away. Enjoyed every moment, two years in a row.

I have stayed at Amid Summers Inn BnB in Cedar City some umpteen times over the last 10+ years. This year I took a friend up there for the first time and they loved it just as much as I do. Once again Charlene provided the most welcoming, gracious and friendly atmosphere that has kept me coming back over the years.
In the past I've brought my teenage children to enjoy the Shakespeare Festival and they also always loved the experience. To this day my children always tell me to say hi to Charlene when I"m there. Those of us with children know how impressive it is to impress a teenager that way.
This year, staying at Amid Summers Inn with my friend, has allowed me to see the Inn in a different light and I have to say, it is just as "Wonderful As Always"!!
I definitely look forward to returning to Amid Summers Inn BnB for many years to come.
Thank you Charlene, you're the best!!
