“Overnight stay at Best Western Cedar City”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014

We stopped over for a night at this nice comfy hotel in Cedar City . The rooms were large, clean and well stocked with amenities. Room decor was fine with some creative designs Parking in front of the room was a boon. Morning breakfast was fine as well. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend this to everyone. We selected it based on reviews of fellow travellers and am glad to share the sentiment.

Well it was our 25 wedding anniversary... so first we couldn't check in till 4pm and the room was HOT... I guess an ok place to stay.. but the bed was too soft... We were missing our Ice bucket, so I went to ask the maid... and well she didn't understand English... and noone at the front desk... Funny that the maid knew enough English to leave us a envelope every day on our bed for a tip.... We always tip at the end of our stay... anyway.... again I went to ask how much it was to wash our clothes and again another communcation problem... so again I went to the front desk and another employee was complaining about how LONG he was working... Fine.. just help me please.... So to Top it off, our last night I went to take a shower and no bath mat... and I slipped... pulled something, but thats on me... in the morning went to check out and stood there for a good 5 minutes till I caught the waiteress/ bus girl's attention and she said oh they don't get in till after 7am... it was already 7:20...so gave her my keys and left a note on the desk...If we ever stay in a Best Western again...Maybe a different town...

Room Tip: Call ahead, have them turn on the A/C and tell the front desk, NOT to have the Maids leave the tip e...

Our rooms were clean and quiet. Our service was nice. We could not find an elevator, which only inconvenienced us a little. When we stayed, the parking lot had recently been repaved and the outside of the hotel was 99% repainted. My only tip would be call ahead and ask them to turn the air on in your room before you arrive.

We had only one night to spend in Cedar City while traveling in our RV. We checked our camp book and most of the RV parks were a ways out of town. Then I spotted the Town & Country which had a few (I think 10) full hook-ups behind the motel. Price reasonable, including use of the 2 pools, fitness center, and a hot breakfast offered at an addition charge. And it was in town. The receptionist was very pleasant, took our AARP discount and we received hotel points. This is an exceptional find. Wish more hotels offered some RV sites.

My husband thought this was the best place we stayed over a several weeks trip. Buildings look a bit older but inside is well decorated & updated. Clean, comfortable room. Lovely courtyard and flower beds. Great location in heart of town.
Breakfast normal offerings.

Depot Grill across street is great!
If you're only in the area for Zion & Bryce, do yourself a favor and stop in Cedar Breaks NM too.

Room Tip: Busy highway in front & side of hotel, so ask for a rear room.

Spent minimal time in the room due to family activities, but room was very comfortable when we were in it. Why does this have to be 200 characters. That's a waste of my time. Blah, blah, blah, blab, blah.

Overall my stay was good. The room was very large, the bed comfortable and the shower excellent. The breakfast choices were many (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.), and the coffee was very good. I would have given the hotel a perfect rating were it not for two issues: there was a barbecue going on outside my room and I could not get any coffee prior to the 6:30 a.m. breakfast start. At other Best Western's I stayed at there usually was coffee available in the lobby at least. In spite of these issues I definitely would stay again and recommend friends to stay there also.

Room Tip: Away from any barbecues going on.
