“Not a great place to stay...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013 via mobile

Okay for the money, $30 per night, but wouldn't stay here again. Very old and poorly maintained hotel. The hotel site was dirty and in disrepair. The free continental breakfast was barely that with only Sunny Delight and coffee and, some cheap packaged mini muffins and mini buns. The staff was friendly though! :)

first thing and maybe the only good thing was the night clerk she was real nice and pleasant. the first thing you notice in the hall way was a strange smell. we had a king size bed the room ha a slight odor the bed comforter had some rips in it and some ketchup on the wall by the dresser. I had a couple of bites on me that woke me up at 2am. the bathroom wasan't to bad. and the internet was okay. the breakfast was a loaf of bread, Coffee was okay.

Never stay here even if everywhere is sold out move on to ST George or stay in Parowan this place is literally the absolute worst ever nasty beds dirty curtains our shower head was held on by rubber bands looks like a by the hour kind of place super sketchy room smelled like stale cigarettes and it had leaks in the roof that has left huge stains on the ceiling bathroom walls probably have never been wiped down the pillows were filthy we didn't even sleep under the covers one bed in our room was slanted so my son woke up half way off the bed you could fill every spring in the mattress not even worth the cheapness of the rate for the night AGAIN DO NOT STAY its better to sleep in a rest stop in the car then here........

Room Tip: stay at the CRYSTAL INN they are amazing

Where to begin with this one? The building is a two story cinderblock construction with steel mesh for stairs and landings. It was dark at the time of our arrival but none of the outside lights was on. The room was small. The air conditioner took hours to cool the room. The lighting inside the room was dim-40 watt bulbs in the lamps. The bedding was aged and sagged. It was impossible to sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. The mattresses were stained and had multiple cigarette burn marks. Be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo. The ceiling and one wall had a large unrepaired crack. The towels had obvious stains. The furniture is in poor condition.
Before we even entered the room a young lady advised us not to stay here because of previous bed bug problems. The room was cheap but the risk to health and safety make this property one to pass on. There are other motels that charge just a few dollars more and at least turn on the outside lights so one doesn't risk falling down the stairs.

Room Tip: There are no good room choices.

My son, daughter in law, grandson and I stayed in this horrible place last night. After being out in the dust and dirt all day grandson was asleep when we got there so they just put him in bed. We just happened to be there still when the maid went into do our room today. They didn't even change the sheets just remade beds. The walls are cracked and floor was filthy. Now I know why the room was so dirty! They don't clean after each use!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Avoid this place all together!!!!

There's not much to recommend this place unless you're truly desperate for a cheap place to crash. For $40 (tax included) you get a room with all the basic amenities (bed, table, chairs, phone, TV, microwave, mini-fridge, wi-fi). The furniture, however, is extremely shabby, dated, and mismatched, the walls are dirty, the sheets are stained, and the room smells regardless of whether you got a non-smoking room or not. Additionally, our TV remote was missing 2 batteries. Given this experience, I nearly panicked the next morning when I realized that I left my iPad behind in the room after checking out. To the motel's credit, though, it was waiting safely for us at the front desk under our room number.
