We went to see the "Light! Camera! Arkansas!" exhibit. My wife, a theater major, and actress in her younger years, really enjoyed this. Several her friends and acquaintances are featured. Really interesting to find out how many silver screen celebrities came from the The Great State.

The building in general is pretty neat. All the niches are filled with interesting history and exhibits.

The building is nicely restored, with ongoing renovations.

Besides saving this beautiful old building which is by itself historical, it is now filled with other historical gems. Watch for special exhibits such as 'LIGHTS! CAMERAS! ARKANSAS!" which was there when I went through. It was a fun, interesting exhibit on the Arkansas/Hollywood connection, showing all the movie stars who came from Arkansas and movies that were made in the state. The museum is FREE.

we did not miss this beautiful building. the best part was the outside - it is beautiful, as well as the exhibition about the movies that were produced in Arkansas. However, there was very little information about the political history etc. of Arkansas. 20-30 minutes suffice for this museum.

Probably can see this in 30-45 minutes. Had a display on Hollywood-Arkansas connection. Staff not helpful at front desk. On the trolley line. Spend $2 for a day pass which starts at 8:20 am. Green line takes 25 minutes round trip. Blue line takes 49 minutes because it goes across the river which is worth the trip, but only once.
