“Fun day trip from Memphis.”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

A nice park thats clean and fun. Lots of sun screen required, but has many slides for all ages. Nice lazy river but crowded at times. Staff was nice, friendly, and alert.

“Fun, clean, affordable family waterpark”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

We drove from Memphis and it was an easy 3 hour trip. The park is reasonably priced and easy to find ($30 for adults, seniors over 60 $10.99). We found the park to be exceptionally clean. All of the staff were friendly and responsive. The lifeguards were impressive. I never saw them take their eyes off the water when they were on duty nor did they engage in conversation. They were dedicated and serious about the guests. The slides are arranged in a way to minimize walking long distances between them. There are 6 at one end for the bigger kids and adults as well as a splash area for little kids. At the other end, not far at all, there are 3 more slides that are slower and more suitable for younger children. Also at this end is the long, lazy river and the wave pool. There are always plently of chairs as well as floats and mats needed for the slides. You cannot bring any food into the park and there is nowhere to eat if you bring a picnic. Although the food is a little expensive the portions are huge! We spent a total of $40 for 4 drinks and 2 orders of chicken tenders, each of which contained 3 HUGE pieces of fried chicken. This is a great little waterpark.

“Below Average Water Park with an Above Average Price”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

Being the only major water park in the city, let alone the state, Wild River country is able to charge an obscene amount of money for a below average experience. The park has changed very little since I was a teenager. Bottom line- The present attractions DO NOT warrant the park's current price of admission.

“Fun For All Ages!”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

My kids are almost 14, 11, 7 and 2 and all of them love coming here. There's plenty of areas to keep them all happy and having fun. The Lazy River and Wave Pools are nice options for people who aren't crazy about slides, but still like to cool off in the water. The baby area is very nice for the little ones.
The fresh coat of paint on everything really livened up the place and I'm very impressed with how friendly and polite all the kids are who are working there this summer! We haven't been in a couple of years, but got season passes this year and it's been great. Very nice place to bring the whole family

“Fun Fun Fun!!!”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

My family enjoyed this waterpark It's not the largest park but it was big enough for my children. (Ages 6-8). The slides were fun and the wave pool was very pleasant. The wait time to get on the slides were minimal. The lifeguards were very attentive to the children. The funnel cakes were delicious !
