We found this place while looking for something to eat in the area and after eating the food it was a great decision. The Po Boys were excellent and the appetizer of shrimp was tasty as well. Sitting outside on the nice day made it even better.

We ate here twice. On Saturday the shrimp dinner was excellent with a tasty salad and wonderful fries. On Sunday the shrimp Po Boys were tasty. We upgraded to fries over chips but were shocked at the very small portion of fries (less than one third the portion on Saturday). We added salads and they too, while tasty were on saucers and very small in contrast to the salads on Saturday which were served on much larger plates. Service was excellent.

Forget the chain restaurants this is the place. Open late, wonderful decor and great Cajun flavors. Gumbo and Grilled Redfish Ponchantrain were fabulous.

I was looking for texture and taste and received both as I enjoyed a fine Redfish Pontchartrain with crabmeat and mushrooms, and a side of crawfish rice, with a crisp vinegarette salad. Quite the flavor delight as even the Lidenheimer French Bread was authentic! Topped off with a generous pour of an Oregon Pinot Noir, and I thoroughly enjoyed my dining on the patio. They offered less expensive fare as well, such as what looked to be well stuffed PoBoys and burgers, but I just couldn't help looking forward to the grilled fish and topping. Do yourself a favor...give this small neighborhood locale a try.
