I have been eating at Mt.Fuji Restaurant at least once a week since I came to Little Rock in 1988. Actually, the restaurtant has been my life saver since eating great authentic Japanese food makes me very happy and content. The restaurant offers truly Japanese soul food such as sushi, tonkatsu (pork cutlet), chicken katsu, soba noodles, teriyaki beef and chicken, shrimp tempura, agedashi tofu (fried tofu with special sauce), etc. Some of these are available for lunch specials ($7.50 - $13). The quality of their sushi rice is the best in town, and the fish are always fresh. When you enroll in Sociology 3316 (Japanese Culture and Society) at University of Arkansas at Little Rock, this is the restaurant that the class goes for a field trip!!
