We had a wonderful time. Mr. Charlie was so pleasant and down to earth. We loved the rooms, the atmosphere, the surroundings of the beautiful nature with musical instruments in the background. It's an old bathhouse and it's ran by one person...but if you look past the cosmetic things and like antiques, you will love it here. We didn't think it smelled bad at all, I liked the journals in the room also.

I loved this place! I stayed there for my birthday weekend and had so much fun. Charlie was an excellent host, we arrived to a lit fire pit and a fridge full of beer including hipster favorite PBR!
The inn was super eccentric, almost like a little museum, with antiques and paintings and photographs. There was musical instruments you can play in the living room including a banjo, dulcimer, double bass, guitars, piano, accordion - I had a play of them all!
There is great hiking and I went swimming at Turner Falls. I recommend the local fried pies, the cute little Rusty Nail winery and the Poor Girls cafe.
The first night we were the only ones there and we got to pick out our room. There was a little cassette player by the bed with a box of cassettes of radio plays. Little touches like that were so sweet, really made me feel like the hosts enjoy delighting their guests. There are also board games and books.
The second night more people showed up and we all sat around the fire pit in the evening chatting and yes, we were the ones that played the ukuleles!
I definitely recommend this place if you like fun, quirky and peaceful retreats.

We had such a fun time. Sat by the fire at night among new friends from all over the country and the world ;) Everyone brought fun to the campfire! Ukelalies and wine. Can't beat it! The inn is run by Charlie and he seems to be a right laid back feller! Would stay again for sure! There is a pleasant aroma in the house of a mix of antique furniture and general "grandma's house" memories. The rooms are a little creaky and squeaky but that's ok because not every place you stay should be five star. There is a potty and sink in the room (with divider) and a boys and girls shower rooms are downstairs. Coffee upstairs every morning and the fridge downstairs is stocked with breakfast items and in the evening, various beer! Just in case you forgot your own. There are no tv's but there is plenty of reading material and games and musical instruments. Right next to park entrance, Charlie has bikes you can borrow to ride into the park. All in all. Fabulous!!!! This would make a fantastic girls weekend kind of place!

We were looking for a weekend getaway and found Sulphur Springs Inn It was a quirky gem perfecly position ed at the parks gates. The inn keeper was friendly and very helpful. The inn had a lot of character but a little rough round the edges.

I really enjoyed staying at the Sulphur Springs Inn! I went during the off season (January) so it was pretty empty. I stayed in one of the attached rooms away from the "main house." The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and included a kitchenette, which would be a great feature for a longer stay. Sadly, I was just passing through and could stay just one night, so I did not use it at all. If you're in Sulphur Oklahoma I assume you're looking for a rustic experience, as opposed to the posh hotels you'd find in a city. This inn fits the bill perfectly.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the innkeeper was a really great guy to talk to.

The Chickasaw park entrance was across the street from my room: it doesn't get any better than that if you're a nature lover. I went for a 15 min. walk into the park before breakfast one day, and saw a bunch of deer wandering around. From the park entrance, there is easy access to hiking trails, as well as roads (for driving or biking) which lead around the park.

Spent 3 nights in a "cabin"-suite. This was an upgrade given to us by the owner, no extra charge. Office area is full of vintage-antique pieces. Our room was large, kitchen area with micro-wave and fridge. Several baskets of snacks. Ample linens.
This was at the North entrance of the Chickasaw National Recreation area. The Inn was close to all we wanted to do. Fish in Veterans Lake, spend time in the park, visit the Chickasaw Heritage Center. Only thing wrong was it was so hot, 110+ and things around the Inn had really burnt up. Had nice visit with Charlie, about fishing. He also will recommend good places to eat. We will go back, mainly because of location and access to things we want to do.

We came for a family reunion and wanted to check out the park during our stay. This is a beautiful location just outside of the park, which is open 24/7. The B&B is full of cool whatnots, you could spend an hour or so just exploring the different pieces and they're historical significance. Charlie was a great host, gave you the inside scoop on where to go, and a great cook. We loved having the kitties around. They're all outside and some you can coax into letting you pet them. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms, yes it is a triplex. It was clean enough, the baseboards hadn't been wiped down and there was some dust in the corners but the linens, counters, dishes, refrigerator, TV and everything else were all clean and in working order. We didn't see any bugs or spiders. The park is spectacular with beautiful cold springs, all with different healing properties. They flow into rivers that have many falls and pools to swim in. There are lots of spots you can jump off the rocks into the pools, both exhilarating and refreshing. Enjoy!
