Stayed in a room on the second floor - couldn't quite get over the dirt behind the bathroom door. The toilet paper holder was holding on by a thread.. Other than that it was an ok stay and the price was decent. Breakfast was pretty flimsy but we weren't paying top dollar either.

We generally agree with the previous reviews. You will hear any noise from the floor above. The breakfast is bare bones and the coffee was weak, so we went to the McDonald's across the street and were satisfied for just a few dollars each. We got a $50 AAA rate on-line for a two night stay which made this a decent value. There is a Safeway close by for provisions. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask to not have anybody in the room above you.

stayed here for 4 nights to go mountain hiking/birding in the area.

the pros: rooms are good sized,; king bed and pillows were very comfortable; breakfast in the lobby from 6-9 a.m. includes cereal, oatmeal packets, fruit, pastries, toast, english muffins, coffee; it was quiet for sleeping if you use the fan as white noise to block out noise from the interstate traffic; tv has 25 channels; table and chairs in room; microwave and fridge in the room service personnel were all polite; free use of computer in lobby.

the cons: the furniture was dirty; lighting is poor for reading; it's overpriced considering that a much cheaper motel 6 is across the street.

As other reviewers have said, this is a good place to stop over if your itinerary requires it. It's easy to find from the interstate and the location is convenient, with a Safeway and several fast food outlets within easy walking distance. We had no problems with cleanliness or service but sound insulation is poor and noisy neighbours could be a problem. Breakfast is reasonable.

The service and cleanliness were excellent at the Days Inn. The location is convenient, with a grocery store within walking distance. There is a good-sized table in the room, great for eating snacks, reading, working, or visiting. The staff is very helpful and cooperative. There is lots to see in the Willcox area--we were looking for Sandhill cranes and found them by the thousands. We were very happy with our stay here!

We stayed here one night - just passing through town. The room was a little on the shabby side, but seemed reasonably clean. The fridge and microwave seemed very new. The "continental breakfast" was your typical fare - nothing remarkable, but at least well-stocked and clean. The location is convenient, right on the highway, and a short walk across the parking lot to a Safeway saved us money on dinner and there's a great Beall's Outlet, too!

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 December 2009

We (family of four) stayed at Day's Inn as a half-way stop between L.A. and Carlsbad Caverns right before Christmas. Room Pluses: We had a second floor room that was quiet and clean. Beds were average comfort and heater worked well. Plenty of hot water. Room Minuses: room needed updating and the bathroom tile floor was worn and poorly repaired. No little bottle of hair conditioner and tissue box was empty.

The breakfast was typical: corn flakes and frosted flakes, assorted breads, doughnuts, juice, milk and coffee. The eating area is in the lobby and relatively small (room for 20 people max.), especially considering that a busload of tourists who had spent the night were trying to eat at the same time. But hey, the room cost under $60 with tax and the condition of the hotel ensured that we got an early start the next morning.

Considering the alternatives in Deming, this hotel is as good as the rest for the price.
