I have been there many times for many plays or performances. Recently I was there to see Million Dollar Quartet, which was very well done and interesting. It was about a chance recording meeting in 1956 in Memphis with Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. It was a fun show but not great. The sound and acoustics are very good and the seats are very comfortable.

A great facility in downtown Dayton.. Very high quality and well-organized and operated. Compareable to the quality of Broadway theaters. Truly enjoyed a number of showes there.

I volunteer as an usher and bar tender for theatre performances at this theatre. They offer a great variety of prices and genres for this size of town. I've become an theatre fan since living in Dayton

What a marvelous performance center this is! The Meade Theater is regal and large with comfortable seats where you can view performances on the very large stage. Performances are wonderful, always very professional. Many "class acts" of world renown continue to bring in record audiences. The smaller Mathile Theater is rented by many groups for performances, many of which feature local talent. Ambiance is always nice throughout the building at any given performance.

Seen more than my share of shows in venues across the country, and it's often "about the show", but in the case of the Schuster Center, it can be all about the hall! This is one of the most satisfying places to see a range of shows from Broadway hits to the Dayton Philharmonic. The sightlines are outstanding, the seats comfortable, visually stunning, yes, but this hall did NOT skimp on acoustics, and when the music is key, the Schuster stands head and shoulders!
