“Perfect Afternoon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2014

Last week we spent the afternoon in Bradenton, first to see Snooty at feeding time, on to the planetarium for a wonderful peek into space, narrated by Tom Hanks, and then on to the DiVinci exhibit across the street. What a magnificent day. Each was extremely unique and educational and well worth the $20.00 each we paid for admission, all inclusive. L. DiVinci was way ahead of his time inventing things because he was such a perfectionist with his art. There are many hands-on displays and we tried all of them. A marvelous afternoon.

This museum is worth your time to visit. The feeding of the manatee was interesting to see. Love all of the displays that were available to view.

“Snooty is a gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

Snooty is the oldest manatee in captivity. He is 65 years old and has been at the South Florida Museum since he was very young; he was born in Miami, so we know how old he is.

There is a wonderful planetarium, and the displays of old Florida are very informative.
