Owner description: A tortuous 2.8 mile road riddled with tunnels - a legacy from years of Borax prospecting.

Interesting rock formations and it only took a few minutes from the main highway . Portions of the road gave us the impression of a roller coaster .

Perfect for those who want off road experience but drove in with the family mini van and not the Jeep Rubicon. This is a very smooth, dirt road that winds through some some scenic (albeit monochrome) hills and valleys and takes only about 15 min to enjoy. Don't miss it if you're already up at Ziebriske Point.

Its really short, and any normal vehicle except RVs can drive it. It is dirty, rocky paved road, that kicks up dost, but doesn't have any rough patches. The view is amazing, its an alien landscape all around you! And there are a few stops, where you can pull off the road and go hiking for a better view. A lot of fun.

The winding dirt road has a scenic view at every turn. With little traffic, it is very enjoyable journey that let's you get up close and personal with the various rock formations.Any passenger car can make the loop, so don't worry. There are several pull outs if you want to take a hike. Recommended!

This canyon can be reached by a short dirt road off the main highway, just a bit past Zabriskie Point. Park along the road and just wander through the mud / alkaline hills, explore the many advit mine entrances (many with warnings not to enter) and experience what it might be like to land on an alien planet. This is some of the best hiking in the park, quiet, lonely and easy to get lost in enjoyment.
