My husband and I spent one of the most memorable Sunday mornings in a very long time enjoying the Sunday brunch at "1741 on the Terrace".......in Bethlehem. PA....
To start is was one of the most beautiful Sundays in awhile and we were seated by a magnificent picture window and the view to the mountains took my breath away...
Then the food and the service were impeccable...Being new to the area of Lehigh Valley ,...born and raised in New York City we thought it would be a challenge to find a comparable dining place to enjoy our Sunday brunches... Let me assure you that this is more than comparable to the places we frequent whether it be in New York or Washington D.C.....it was delicious and lovely experience and congratulations to all involved in making it so.....

The bar service and quality of drinks was fantastic. From martini's to Long Island Ice Tea's. We only had appetizers and they were all very good. Our server "Maris" was fantastic and made the evening. We were a party of eight and never had to wait for anything we needed,

We tried the Sunday Brunch at the Hotel Bethlehem today. First the food was very good. The prime rib very good, medium rare, tasty and warm. The ham was succulent and a bit sweet. We tried the mahi, very nice, so were the onion mashed potatoes. My wife’s omelet was done to perfection. All the food was very good.
One problem. The service was terrible, I expected better at the Hotel Bethlehem. Victoria, our server was missing all morning. We sat down and didn’t get water or coffee till one of the managers stopped at the table. Victoria finally introduced herself after 40 minutes. We didn’t see her till later when we asked another server for the check. The busboys filled our coffee when we were able to get their attention, but Victoria avoided us. Maybe because we look like senior citizens she thought we didn’t need the level of service that other tables received. Maybe she believes seniors won’t tip very well, however if this is the level of service she provides to them I can understand why they don’t tip well.
Will we go again? We have to see.

Had dinner here for our wedding anniversary, which just so happens to be the day after Valentines day, as part of a very good package deal included with the hotel. We knew before hand that because of the package deal, there was a special menu with limited choices but we are not picky and could always find something. However, the one thing my wife wanted was not available due to the craziness of Valentines Day before, so the waitress, Stephanie, asked if we could wait a minute and when she came back she had main menus in hand and told us to pick whatever we wanted from any menu we choose. Needless to say, the food was prepared perfectly and delicious to say the least. Our server was always there and more than professional. The room itself is beautiful and we had a table overlooking the very quaint main street. A big thank you to all who made our wedding anniversary a very special night. We are very much looking forward to our next experience here.
