Great dinner in a romantic setting. Decent selection cooked to order. Nothing frozen on this menu all made fresh.

“Lovely Dinner”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

My husband and I decided to spend our 35th wedding anniversary at the Hotel Bethlehem. Once we had arrived we made reservations to eat in the 1741 Terrace. We were seated promptly and a nice table overlooking the street and the views of the hills. Our waiter, Zack, provided exceptional service throughout the evening. He made every attempt to make sure we were will served. Our dinners were delicious, lamb chops and salmon. I asked for a wine recommendation and the red was just perfect! We were even visited by the manager and all in all we had a lovely experience. We would certainly recommend the 1741 Terrace to anyone for a lovely dinner.

“Amazing Sunday Brunch!!”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

If you are ever in the city of Bethlehem, PA, make a reservation for the Sunday Brunch at the 1741 on the Terrace restaurant in the Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Well worth the $30 per person cost, at least once--a great treat!! You won't be hungry for the rest of the day! The selection is terrific and the quality is delicious! The dessert bar (they have a new pastry chef on staff) was picture perfect (and tasted even better than it looked!!).

“Good food with disappointing service.”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

We made reservations for Saturday night dinner and were promptly seated. The night started strong with attentive service and our appetizers came out in a timely manner. Then we were forgotten. It took about 40 minutes for us to get our entrees. I noticed that others who were seated after us were getting their food before us. had to call out for our waiter to ask if there was a problem. He advised his manager was going to check on the food. When the food arrived, the waiter told us there was a new process in the kitchen and a new executive chef. While the food was good, I will not eat at this restaurant again. There are plenty of other options in the area.
