Before I made reservations for dinner I read all of the reviews and had mixed feelings to eat here. Well, now I'm giving my review.
My family went here for a birthday celebration last night. Let me just say that when you call a restaurant on a Saturday, the same day you want to eat there and there is availability that's a sign. This is BYOB when I read some reviews dated earlier they gave complementary wine as their competitors across the street, they charge for a glass of wine but that's fine because we brought our own. Our server asked if we wanted the bottle of wine opened...well why did I bring it?
My husband had Veal Parmesan it was overcooked and not tender.
My daughter did not care for her entrée and Staci Caiazzo ( the owners wife) asked her questions..well they took her plate back asked if she wanted anything else she said she didn't however when the bill came her dinner was on the bill...it wasn't boxed to take home. Staci told her she would comp desert for the birthday girl well we were charge for the desert. After speaking to the server the bill was corrected for the entrée but not for the desert.
Staci walks through the restaurant overseeing things but lacks CUSTOMER SERVICE and has that attorney attitude about her which is not customer friendly. Also this was the first time I ever ate at a restaurant that has a time limit in writing on the menu in fine print "90 minutes" WHAT??? The place card on our reservation which was on the table had my name and time 6:00 - 7:45.
Bottom line is eat across the street at Mama Nina's or Little Italy on Main if you want Italian food and complimentary wine.
