“Incredible Middle Eastern food you won't forget”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 May 2014

This is a low key, very comfortable Turkish restaurant with charming service that has a broad menu that most people, especially those who haven't had the pleasure of visiting Turkey, myself included, would describe as Middle Eastern. It's going to take my wife and I a while before we can try every item on the menu. And after having only eaten there twice, we loved what we had the first time so much that we repeated it the second time we went there: the Mixed Appetizer platter (absolutely delicious, with homemade stuffed grape leaves, char-grilled babaganoush, creamy dill-seasoned yogurt, and more, accompanied by slices of crusty homemade bread along with the most sensuous pita bread I've ever had, including on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.); Piyaz Salad, white kidney beans, garnished with onions, tomatoes, parsley, carrots, and live oil vinegar dressing. As an entree, we shared the succulent Chicken Shish Kebab, marinated and with the distinct aroma of charcoal grilling. When it came time for dessert, having had enough experience with the restaurant's culinary mastery of Middle Eastern cuisine, we decided there was nothing on the menu that wouldn't delight us. So we shared a rice pudding. I won't take the time to describe it here. But the small dish of ground Thai cinnamon that accompanied it puts to shame any of that McCormick's anemic cinnamon that you buy at the supermarket. I'm getting hungry just writing this review. So I'll stop now and highly recommend you experience this restaurant's food (and attentive service) for yourself.

“Best Falafel!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2014

Keep coming for the best, fresh falafel pita. Prices are reasonable and friendly service. Will try something new if I can pass up my falafel passion.

“The best gyro in the Valley”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 February 2014 via mobile

We have come here 4 times and we love their shish kababs but we keep coming back for the Gyros! We usually start with a small mixed appitizer. Then a gyro sandwich. Very nice and clean, pleasant dining room. You must try it even if you are not familiar with Turkish cuisine!

“This is my fourth visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 January 2014

I felt compelled to write a followup report. This food is excellent and a great value,
Still a BYOB, we returned again with friends who had told us about it originally.
We shared the large appetizer combination, and the large white bean salad. Also two mixed grill entrees. Unlimited pita bread. You must try the Turkish coffee.
