The bookstore is huge, full of gift shop items, and of course, books. Also their listed events tickle more interest. We visited this bookstore because of it being the oldest bookstore in the nation. Quite enticing, indeed.

Moravian book shop is a place NOT to pass up when visiting Bethlehem, PA. So many authentic Moravian items, items special to this area and the Moravian stars are the best selection you will find anywhere!
Along with the cafe and yes, so many book titles to choose from. Do put this on your list of places to see in Bethlehem!

Better bookstores in nearby Allentown. Food is scanty. Better places down the street. Old woman behind the counter is not helpful and inappropriately opinionated.

No trip to my hometown is complete without a stop at this bookstore I've been visiting since I was a child. The book section has always been, and continues to be, a well-selected, wide-ranging collection where everyone can find something of interest (usually more than one!). Then there's all the other stuff - funky cookware, tableware, cards and giftwrap, decorative items, and Bethlehem- and Moravian-centric memorabilia and souvenirs, including lots of Christmas merchandise, Bethlehem being the "Christmas City" and all! A lovely cafe at the rear of the store is a perfect place for a light meal before continuing on your exploration of Bethlehem.

I love the cafe at the end of the store, you get to see all kinds of unusual stuff in the store as you make your way back for some nice treats and lunch.
