The people who work here are very well informed. We especially like to check with them about the Fall colors. They keep close track of where the leaves are changing and can point you in the right direction. Nice looking building as well.

after driving to Mammoth wanted some information on the hot springs - none available except at hot tubs at hotels. also the kids behind the desk weren't that friendly - they seemed like we were bothering them....the pamplets were plentiful and also coupons for the area...just disappointed with the staff.

This site is excellent, has friendly staff and many resources for year around enjoyment. This center offers licenses for hiking, many publications and quality gifts.

This is an excellent resource for information and maps on the area. The only drawback is that it closes at 5 pm. It participates in the plastic bottle recycling program initially started at Grand Canyon. You bring in your plastic or other reusable bottle and fill it for free with cool filtered Brita water. Nice!

Definitely visit here first and have someone help you plan your days. Gps brought us to the wrong location. Look for big sign on road instead.
