First thing, overpriced for what you get, the room was clean but extremely hot being they have no ac or swamp cooler, now this mite not be a problem for some but when there is nothing but thick smoke outside because of fires you dont want to open that window. If it was stated in the web site I would have picked another place. Also the Youdler restaurant, the waiter was a complete d bag, ask him a question get a smart remark if I remembered his name I would put it here. Just a bad time, I will be returning but not staying here.

We only slept here one night traveling from Vegas to Yosemitypark. We arrived late in the evening so the kitchen had closed but our breakfast was a very nice continental breakfast. The bed was really nice and the room was generally in good condition and clean though a little bit dated. We did walk through the nearby wood which was very nice. The hotel is nicely situated!

Stayed for one night as part of an ATI tour. The hotel is a ski resort really but was lovely out of season too. The room was well-appointed and clean. The facilities were excellent: a really lovely bar area, with great service, and a superb leisure area with four hot tubs and a nice pool where you could enjoy the sunset over the mountain.

Unfortunately breakfast was ludicrously over-priced, but they did offer a cheaper 'continental' option in the general store.

I've stayed here about three times, because it is at about 9,000 feet, and therefore useful for getting acclimatized to higher altitudes, for hiking in the Sierra. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. There is a surcharge on the room price, which you may or may not have paid upfront. This is supposed to be for stuff like wifi, airport shuttle, town shuttle and other sundries that are free in other places. The hotel is not in the town of mammoth as such, but 3-4 miles west of it, so there is no nightlife here - you have to get the shuttle to town for that. There is a restaurant with mediocre food, overpriced but great view. There's a cafeteria/buffet breakfast as well, not very appetizing and not included. It seems as if a lot of foreign coach tour people stay here in the summer, or people like me, getting used to altitude. You can also get the Yarts bus into Yosemite from here. The staff were friendly and helpful, and very quick to help when needed (like when the in-room hairdryer died at 7am). There's nothing to do here at night except sit in the restaurant/bar of the hotel - the activities that are going on during the day are for day only (biking, rock wall, etc).

Room Tip: rooms on the south side, facing Mammoth mountain.

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were the best rooms ever for a family room there was an upstairs, there wasn't a fridge but the beds made up for it because they were so comfy and they were massive, however the location is in the middle of no where and is best n winter because they have ski facilities and a cable car, they also have an indoor pool and great helpful employees like Justin

Recently stayed overnight in this lovely inn. We reserved 3 rooms for an overnight stay on our way to a family campout. We had a nice dinner at the Mountain Grill which had an awesome view of the ski slops. Even without snow, the slops are beautiful. Staff was attentive and super friendly. Our room was clean, large and very comfortable. Great way to start our family camp out.
Thanks!
