For years and years, visited the Mammoth area but never fished Crowley, well, a couple times and once with a guide, but we like to float tube fly fish, so we stuck to all the smaller lakes in the area. This year we found out "how" to fish Crowley and where to go, and now we have been going every morning and catching some very nice Bows and Browns, you don't catch a lot, but what you catch is nice and big. Get off the lake when the breeze starts if you are not in a boat, the wind quickly picks up shortly can white caps next, and then it's a pain to get back to shore, so plan accordingly. They have also improved their RV campground from years ago.
