“value for the dollar”
Reviewed 24 February 2014

considering the price! i don't think there is a better option in mammoth, great rooms with comfortable beds, best continental breakfast in town. i looked for a condo but couldn't find anything under $200 a night after fee's and more fee's, this hotel had everything we needed for under $200 with fee's... i'll be back!

Hi Trenon
I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay. Many lodging facilities do indeed charge a resort fee which we do not. Here, you won't find yourself stuck with hidden fees. We'll see you again soon.

My wife and I have been season pass holders to Mammoth for years. We stay here the majority of the time, and have been staying here ever since it opened under a different franchise. The staff is well trained, professional and always friendly, just awesome . The hotel well set-up and maintained. The owner always seems to want to keep this property current, and is conscious of upgrading the hotel periodically. We highly recommend staying here. It is a great dollar value.

Room Tip: Rooms on the first floor facing the pool seem to be quieter and more convenient. For a splurge, try...

The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the accommodations were a great value. Covered parking was a huge plus, as was the indoor pool. The room was comfortable and provided sufficient room to relax as well as complete any necessary work. Location is excellent though a little difficult to find at first.

The Hotel was great for us. We had stayed there the year before too. It is near bus stop so we d not need to drive a car to the mountain to snowboard. There was some weird smells in the hallways each day, but the room was fine. The breakfast in the morning is basic, but is just enough to get you ready for a great day of snowboarding.

My kids loved the indoor heated pool and the family room option with the bunk bed was a huge hit! The bunk bed for the kids is seperated from the queen bed in the room by a wall and it has its own tv for the kids! We were very happy with our stay here and im sure we will use this location again the next time we visit Mammoth Lakes.

Great hotel, staff very friendly and the breakfast which was included was great. You can walk from the hotel as you are on the Main Street and the hotel is pet friendly - we were given a pet friendly room, even though we didn't have a pet (it was the last room available) and apart from a few pet accessories, you would never of known it was a room that pets had stayed in!

Room Tip: Our pet friendly room was at the back and right by an exit door to the side car park - great for bri...

Hi Annemarie,
I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay! We are indeed in a great central location and thank you for giving kudos to our pet rooms. We have 4 of them in the hotel to provide rooms for pets that those guests with allergies can stay away from. Hope to see you again.

The hotel is quite nice-with a full breakfast, nice rooms and a good location. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast staff were friendly and positive. The only issue is that you have to log in to wifi every time you want to use your phone or computer. In most places, once you log in, you don't have to redo it-but here-you log in all the time. Quite annoying. Within a 15 minute period I had to log in three times-because I would close my phone-and then when I would reopen it, I would have to log back in. They should have a system that saves the log in.....
