“Disappointing.”
Reviewed 23 March 2014 via mobile

We went because it was close by and had decent reviews. My Caesar salad was wilted, not crisp, lasagna suboptimal. But the bread was OK, and service friendly. Decent wine list.

“Outstanding food, great service, affordable, and even gluten free options”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

Large menu, great server. Cook served us the food. We loved our meal. Everything seems made there, often from scratch. I had lasagna and a fresh baked loaf of bread. My wife had the sirloin, but they also have gluten free pasta that she was eyeing. Good wine and beer selection. Very affordable for a nice place in mammoth

“Disappointing to be honest”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

The menu is short. It doesn't show any prices either. We had a late lunch (2:30). We were the only* customer at the time. The dining room is cute but the seats are wooden with a 'lip' on the top edge which was extremely uncomfortable. My son also hit his head trying to sit straight. We stayed hoping to have great food to recover this. 3 kids & 2 adults, Every single one of our plates was slathered in oil & grease. The 'french fries' are terribly soggy to say the least. We were brought a complimentary dessert. I LOVE sweets ok. I took one bite & my face cringed, the dessert too-was slathered in grease. I took a second bite of the dessert to make sure that I was not imagining it, nope, this dessert was Greasy with a capital G..i don't want to write a page trying to explain the food so i will leave it at that.
The service was not the best, not the worst. (4 out of 10)
Then afterwards we were double charged on 2 entrees. So we had to wait around for her to fix the receipt.
Wont recommend, wont return.

“Finally! Found a chef!”
Reviewed 20 January 2014 via mobile

The outside doesn't look appealing - ignore it. There's a low key country diner feel inside without the cobwebs, a nice cozy fireplace, and even small bar in attached room. Had a late lunch, sun streaming thru the windows, friendly waiter, and good food. Meatball sandwich better than Campo's. Sweet potato fries fresh, thick cut and homemade with just the right amount of salt. The petit sirloin with side of sautéed green beans hit the spot. And Philadelphia Salad well done. Chicken noodle soup probably the least favored - tasted the bouillon. Otherwise, we'll definitely be back. Can't believe haven't tried it before...it's the look from outside...really needs some updating.

Chef Jason took great care of us from start to finish. A perfectly cooked buffalo burger! Warm and cozy atmosphere, something for everyone on the menu!
