Restaurant is very Polynesian but they don't have very many Hawaiian things on the menu. The menu is mostly , " Bar Type Of Food " Having said that , the nachos , the salad , etc ..... were all , really really great . The Happy Hour prices were the best we found in the area and the service was friendly and super fast.

We ambled into this joint with low expectations on food quality, but were thrilled to discover that all our meals were excellent -- no small thing considering that we had everything from sauteed curry veggies and rice to spicy Ono salad to bacon cheeseburgers. We thought this was a fluke so ate here later in the week, and same result. Yes the service is slow, but hey - you're on vacation, and the theme of the restaurant is Polynesian, so get with the vibe and enjoy the conversation.
Somewhat pricey, but this is smack in the middle of the town square where everything costs.

The food was okay. The atmosphere was set like it's somewhere in a tropical island but the service was slow.

On the second floor of the Village at Mammoth, this is not an easy spot to get to because the parking is difficult and finding the elevator is like being on a scavenger hunt. It is, however, worth the effort. We were there for Happy Hour, and the drinks, food and service were very good. I'd recommend the Mai Tai. It was better than any I had in Hawaii.

Located right at the Mammoth Mountain Village.
The interior was disappointing, not Hawaiian looking, more like a large bar/tavern. However the locals were correct, the 1/2 rack of ribs and fries was good. The meal came with a large salad but no bread, $21.00.
