Well, I originally reviewed a menu that didn't have prices. My mistake. Make sure you look at the prices. Perceived value is subjective. I had high expectations as protein entrees were mostly priced in the mid-thirty dollar range. The service was very attentive but the food was disappointing. One of our group had the vegetarian option that included Portobello mushrooms. The texture of the mushrooms was rubbery. Not sure how they were prepared but they weren't grilled or seared. I chose Caesar salad, cream of potato leek soup, and goat cheese stuffed ravioli. The soup was excellent. While the Caesar was nicely prepared, there was no anchovy taste to the dressing. I realize that not all Caesars use anchovies but unless someone tells you otherwise, you would expect it, especially at a finer dining establishment. The raviolis were tasty but tough. I was relatively full so while I would have loved to have the Bananas Foster for dessert as it was flambeed table side, $15 was just a little more than I wanted to spend. Again, the service was attentive and the setting cozy but the food was a disappointment for the price.
