Stayed in two different rooms during one trip in January, they were the only place with a available rooms at a decent price. The inn is cozy, and a short walk from the village (maybe three blocks in city terms). The two rooms we had were really small, but very clean and comfortable.

We stayed at the Innsbruck Lodge on 5th September 2012.

The Lodge is set in the lovely area of Mammoth Lakes, which is very remminiscent of the Austrian Tyrol. The Lodge is extremely clean and comfortable and within walking distance to local cafes etc.

The hostess was very helpful with advice on where to visit in the area.

However there were notices in the room stating that quiet time was between 10.00pm and 7.00am, if this was not adhered to a fine of $250 would be imposed, also if you did not wash your cups a fine of $50 would be implemented. This did not bother us, as we like to retire early, but I would not advise this hotel for any night owls.

Also perhaps a room on the second floor would be advisable, as we were kept awake until 11.30pm with the couple above us, opening and closing patio doors, plus the noise of their tv. We were also awakened at 5.00am the following morning, with the creak of the floor boards as they were moving around their room.

Room Tip: For a quieter room choose a room on the second floor

We stayed one night over the summer. It was older, but clean and comfortable. People gathered to smoke on the shared balcony, so you couldn't leave the large sliding door open. It was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. It's not fancy, but it is a good value. The packman game in the lobby was a blast from the past.

Hi, very friendly service, lovely rooms, and close to the main area for food. Nice and quiet, good parking, and very relaxed and all that you need.

We stayed for 2 nights in a King Room. The ammenities, location and a very reasonable price make the Innsbruck a very good value. It is 2 blocks waking distance to the Mammoth Village.

Pros:
Close to Village
Bed was comfortable
Room had everything you needed - glasses, TV, fridge, wine opener, coffee maker, hairdyer and a good view

Cons:
Jacuzzi really doesn't work well and is inside a room next to the entrance. Really only OK for 2 people
Noisy hotel - you can hear everything
Dated- Decor could be updated, although in Mammoth it fits right in there.

Overall I think this is a good place to stay, especially for the price. The queen rooms downstairs looked rather small, so plan accordingly.

Room Tip: Choose a King Room or one with a kitchenette.
