My husband and I stayed overnight at the Sawin' Logs Bed & Breakfast when we visited Devils Tower, WY on our recent vacation. It was our first experience staying at a Bed & Breakfast. It felt like home! Twila, our hostess, was warm and friendly and made us feel welcome in every way. Our room, the Saffron Suite, was large and comfortable with a wonderful shower in the bathroom. It was very clean. We slept in late and still enjoyed a wonderful late breakfast with a beautifully set table. And the homemade banana crumb muffins were delicious. In addition, Twila insisted we take the leftover muffins with us, and we did. This Bed & Breakfast is only a short drive from the entrance to Devils Tower which was most convenient for us. It was after dark when we arrived, and Twila had the outdoor lights on plus walked out to welcome us personally--just like family! I highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast to other travelers.

We stayed at Sawin' Logs B&B while visiting Devils Tower. It is about 4-5 miles from the entrance to the Devils Tower National Monument. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable, towels fluffy, and we had a beautiful view from our window.

Twila is very nice and welcoming. We enjoyed our conversation and visit with her. She is very knowledgeable about the region.

There are 3 bedrooms (each with private bath) and a large shared "great room" with sitting areas and the breakfast table located on the lower level of this home. The great room has 2 doors which open to a large deck which is a nice, quiet place to sit and relax with a beautiful view. There is a large picture window which allows this same view to be enjoyed from the dining table while eating breakfast.

Twila served eggs, freshly baked blueberry cinnamon muffins, fruit, yogurt, juice, and tea for breakfast. It was delicious! Best of all, she provided a "To Go" bag for the extra muffins and we enjoyed them later in the day during our road trip. There is a Keurig coffee maker available 24/7 for coffee drinkers.

There is not a TV, but there is free wi-fi internet service. There are also board games and lots of books available. A microwave and popcorn is available too as well as a pantry with a fridge full of beverages.

I noticed the sheets on the laundry line blowing in the sunny breeze when we left and loved it! So fresh and clean!

This is a "must stay" B&B when visiting the Devils Tower.

Situated just a few miles from Devils Tower, Sawin Logs is the ideal place to stay while visiting the area.
Twila is the perfect host, greets you on arrival, shows you to your room - we stayed in the Rustique Retreat room - and she explains where everything is. The welcome is warm and friendly and immediately put us at ease. As soon as we had unpacked, we sat on the front porch and watched as a rabbit and four deer came to within 30 feet if us - that's how idyllic this place is. And the views from that porch are idyllic - try and catch some of the sunrise with a mug of coffee, both are sublime.
We were given full use of the downstairs area and all of the books and games. There is Internet access too.
The room we had was very nicely appointed with lovely furnishings and ornaments.
The bed was really comfortable - note that there is no TV in the room, but after a full day, we didn't feel one was necessary.
Breakfast at a mutually agreed time with the other guests was a nice, friendly affair with, in our case, a home made cheese soufflé and cranberry scones. Orange juice, milk, coffee or tea are there in abundance and it was tough to drag ourselves away.
Pack the cases in the car, a hug from our host and a last look back as we set off down the drive on a really great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: In our opinion, it's impossible for you to pick a room that's anything other than perfect !.

We got greeted by Twila with a big warm welcoming smile. She is so friendly and her B&B is amazing. The location is perfect for visiting Devil's Tower. It is just a few miles down the road. They have a lovely view and it is very quit so you really relax. The rooms and bathrooms are very big and very beautiful. The towels are extremely soft and everything is very beautifully decorated. We had a lovely breakfast as well. Don't bother to travel down to Hullet or Sundance to stay in a cold motel, this is where you want to be. It's warm, welcoming and it feels like home!!!!!

Wonderful place to stay. We will be back if traveling in that area. The B&B was very clean, and quiet. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was more than perfect and the company of the owners during breakfast was delightful.

Twila greeted us with a great big smile after our GPS had taken us to the wrong place and we had to call her to find out that we weren't there yet. The PEACE! The BEAUTY! The SERENITY! These are just three of the reasons why I would love to return and stay for at least a week. After she helped us with our luggage we sat and had a wonderful visit learning about each other. Then we went out and petted the three beautiful Belgian Horses.
After deciding to redo my room and bath, at home, to match the room there, I was able to sleep, with the window OPEN! No fear, just the beautiful fresh breeze flowing over me.
Then I was awakened to the fragrance of the mouth-watering breakfast that Twila had prepared.
Go see Devil's Tower and stay with Twila at Sawin' Logs. You may even want to purchase one of her husband's carvings, they are great!

Room Tip: Anyone that you choose is great!

Traveling with my wife and two teenage daughters, we found this beautiful and comfortable B&B very close to Devil's Tower. Twila was a wonderful hostess and greeted us from the deck as we pulled in. After a long day on the road, I couldn't ask for anything better. The home was beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the view just incredible! I will hold fond memories of simply sitting on the deck in the morning watching the horses and the sunrise. Just fantastic. Twila showed us the other rooms she had and every one of them was just fantastic. It would have been a mistake to stay anywhere else!
