What a delightful 4 days we spent in the Crow's Nest of the Anchorage B&B! An amazingly comfortable large room, fabulous views over the bay and the town, gourmet breakfasts served by the charming hosts, and a bottomless cookie jar at all hours of the day! It was a perfect location to make walks to the waterfront, main street, restaurants, shops and parks very enjoyable. And a very central base for all of our trips to the surrounding communities as we explored the whole island. We felt pampered, relaxed and refreshed as we were able to unwind away from the hustle and bustle for a bit! Definitely on our list of places to visit again!

Room Tip: The Crow's Nest at the top of the inn does require a couple flights of stairs, but well worth them for the views! Very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out and relax.

Because we're just a skip and a hop from so many areas, Coupeville is in the Central Whidbey region of Whidbey Island. A great place to put a "bottomless cookie jar". D&D

I have stayed many times at the Anchorage Inn Bed and Breakfast on Whidbey Island, WA
This Inn Spoils you so much that I would Never stay anywhere else. They have thought of
everything that a guest would or could need. They even stock the guest refrigerator with free
popular soft drinks, homemade delicious cookies all day long and yummy fresh popcorn, along with hot tea and fresh coffee whenever you want. The innkeepers Dave and Diane even have free top of the line shampoo, soaps and everything a guest might have forgotten to pack. I really don't know how any other B & B can ever compete with them. The Bedrooms are beautifully furnished and immaculately cleaned as well as the roomy bathrooms that are as clean as can be. I just love The Anchorage Inn and look forward to my next stay with them. A perfect choice get away!!! Walking distance to the downtown and water front. The breakfasts
are OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Corner Suites are large and sunny!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just had the pleasure of spending 5 nights at the Achorage Inn B & B, and would highly recommend it! A lovely property, in a great location, just about a block and a half from the waterfront and main street of Coupeville. I received a warm welcome and thorough orientation to the inn and my room, as I moved in to my beautiful room. I stayed in room 6 on the main floor, which I believe is the smallest room--very comfortable for one person. Breakfasts were delicious and varied through the stay, presented with care and beauty. I appreciated having beverages available all the time (including a caffeine free Diet Coke for those of us not needing to stay up all night!), and popcorn and homemade cookies. Thanks for Dave and Dianne for fine hospitality, recommendations on local restaurants and sights! I hope to stay again!

Just stayed at this B&B 5/26-5/29. The location is perfect, the inn itself is beautiful
And utterly charming. Dave & Diane, the Inn Keepers, are friendly and very accommodating.
We stayed in the Crows Nest, beautiful views and very comfortable. Great location for exploring
all the great adventures that Whidbey Island has to offer.

Two blocks from the water, the Anchorage Inn B&B in Coupeville welcomes you with its Victorian, white-washed majesty as you near the center of Whidbey Island. The Anchorage Inn is easy walking to the wharf and shops, restaurants and bars. It's not uncommon to see an eagle or peregrine falcon overhead as you rest on the comfortable furnityure located on the inn's wide, octagonal porch as you take in a panoramic sunset in this peaceful community surrounded on both sides by water.

Dianne and Dave, the innkeepers, are the perfect hosts! They are not only cordial, interesting and helpful, they make sure you have everything you need: a sumptious bed, high thread count, soft cotton sheets, plenty of towels, a private bath, a HD TV, open windows for fresh air, access to the dining room where there's always a plethora of coffee, snacks and freshly baked cookies, even a refrigerator where one can keep cold drinks. The bathroom is ample with great water pressure and everything in the inn is immaculate.

Dianne's cooking is worth getting up early for, but they considerately ask what time you would like the scrumptious breakfasts to be served. Everything is freshly made, including her divine nut pancakes with real maple syrup (warmed!) to the three egg omelette and Dianne's to-die-for spinach quiche that is previewed with yogurt, granola and fresh fruit. Ask Dave to show you how to make a Whidbey Whiz-bang! He is also extremely knowledgeable about the island and the weather.

I was here a week as I explored Whidbey and the San Juans. Each time I returned from an adventure in the evening, my room and bath had been cleaned and I could watch any one of a hundred movies in their library, browse a magazine or book from their collection or simply sip a glass of wine overlooking the town and water as the sunset gloriously painted the sky. At night, there was Not One Sound, even with the windows open. This is one of the most comfortable and peaceful places I've ever stayed.

It just doesn't get any better than this! I will absolutely return.

Room Tip: All the rooms look upon a beautiful view. I stayed in Room 4, where there were angled walls and an abundance of light with partial view of the sound.
