First let me say that I've recommended to my spouse that we stay where we usually stay when we visit Philly, the hotels by the airport, we drive so getting downtown isn't an issue. I caved in we chose this hotel. This is a classy looking hotel. The room was very nice. The decor fit our taste. That said, it was pretty much it. The parking was 52 dollars for a 24 hour period and while it's "valet" with unlimited in and out privileges, when I asked about alternatives they told me about a 32 dollar cost of the parking garage across the street. Thank you kind sir, thank you for neglecting to mention that it does NOT have in and out privileges thus costing me an arm and a leg just to park there for a bit over 12 hours the first day. Customer service fail. Also, how does a hotel this classy looking doesnt even have pay per view? I mean sure, it has some basic cable channels but common now, this is 2014. Now let me mention the master fail. One day me and my wife get dressed to go drive to brunch. Call the valet and the wait....wait for it..... is 45 MINUTES. Are you kidding me? The design of the area where the valet pulls up is 2 lanes wide and during checkout dozens of cars block the way. Yes I may be from NYC and like to think things should happen fast but the "out of towners" casually have conversations and slowly pack their cars while dozens of people wait. Oh, almost forgot, the dining room service is brought to you by.... Chilli's....across the street..... so many things wrong with that.... would rather stay at the Aloft or the Four point sheraton by the airport for less money....
