Good location for downtown restaurants and site seeing; reasonable parking, plenty of amenities within although a hot tub by the pool would be nice. Service at the Standing O was pretty slow but the food was decent.

I stayed at this hotel to attend a seminar. Everything was spotless - from the lobby to the hallways and most importantly the room. The room was nice and quiet - I didn't hear anything coming from next door and I know there were people there. All the staff was very friendly. The internet service was good except that you had to pay for it. I had lunch at the hotel restaurant and it was OK - nothing fantastic. Fortunately there are lots of restaurants and theaters within walking distance - some only 1/2 block away! All price ranges. Overall good stay.

If they put you in a room near the elevator you will not have a good nights sleep, it is really noisy if the hotel is busy at night. I also encountered a lot of hair in the bathroom. the room appeared clean overall but the bathroom was extremely dissatisfactory. I had to clean before I used it.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay and thank you for pointing out the condition of your room while you were still in the hotel. As a result, we had the opportunity to immediately coach the housekeeping Team Member who serviced your room on the importance of attention to detail. Apart from it's location which is within walking distance of most of the historic sights in this city of history the hotel is wonderful in it's own right. It is located smack in the middle of Broad Street and directly across the street from the Academy of Music Theatre and minutes from the shops on Walnut, Chesnut and Liberty Place. Swimming Pool, Gym and Executive lounge makes it, for us, perfect.

Room Tip: In big cities we like street views.

1. The staff were not at all friendly with the exception of the maintenance man who fixed the toilet 2. They charged for a full american breakfast $16 + tax and tip for an a la carte order of one egg, one slice of toast and a piece of bacon extra crispy and a cup of hot water - I supplied my own tea bag 3. Said the restaurant manager would call me - he didn't. I won't pay for food I don't ask for even on an expense account so I went without breakfast for the next two days and that made me pretty cranky! 4. Waited 15 minutes for them to call me a taxi - having been told I was not allowed to do it myself - I should have walked down the street and hailed one myself 5. They charge $9.95 per night per device for internet - this is in 2014 in a business hotel - are you kidding me! 6. The hotel is a little dated as evidenced by the toilet mechanism breaking BUT best thing about the hotel - the maintenance guy who was just delightful and prompt and courteous and efficient

Wow, location on Broad Street is near most everything and within walking distance. Had a fantastic room on the top floor, corner view..and had access to the Executive Level. Not sure how we got that, but Megan at the front desk was incredible. She was helpful, friendly, and wonderful. Had some issues with noisy guests one night. Doors between rooms let in a lot of sound, and we just could not regulate the thermostat the entire time. Other than those minor inconveniences, this hotel was definitely worth it.

Wonderful location, beautiful hotel and great staff! Had a great time in Philly! Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Stayed here with our 5 year old twin boys, who absolutely loved the warm, chocolate chip cookies upon arrival.
