“Excellent”

Italian pulled pork sandwich is the best! Really long lines, but definitely worth the wait. Besides, the line moves fairly quickly. A must have in Philly.

“Great Sandwich!”
Reviewed 30 October 2013 via mobile

Had a great sandwich for lunch before my conference started. I got a stool at the bar and the server recommended the one that had won an award from the Travel Channel-- roast pork with broccoli rabe (rapini) and sharp provolone. It was great (and huge). The hard roll was perfect (crisp and tender), just enough juice, and the greens and cheese were the perfect topping. I'll go back again but could easily share an order to save room for some other market treats.

“great sandwiches”
Reviewed 25 October 2013

Yes, too many people know about this place and there is almost always a long line unless you go off hours like maybe 3. Same thing goes for any of the great places in town for cheesesteak or roast pork, but this one is super convenient for those without a car.

The roast pork sandwiches are great, I've never ordered anything else!

“Great sandwich”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

Had the pulled pork and greens sandwich. Never would have thought of putting brocolli rabe on a sandwich, but wow, it hits the spot. The Reading Market in general has great food, this place in particular is awesome!

“Pulled pork convert”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

The South Africa food tv channels often show shows featuring pulled pork sandwiches. My visit to Philly was just the opportunity to try this delicacy. I was not disappointed. My husband and I both enjoyed our pulled pork sandwiches, even took "doggy bags" for later.
