“You can get so close to it”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Go early in the morning as you will have to stand in line to go through security. The earlier you go the shorter the line. It is certainly worth your time. It's amazing how much a simple bell means to a nation and its people.

“Get there earlier, closer to closing times are risky.”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

A beautiful history preserved very well.

Liberty Bell Center is a place I had always visited with my friends and family. Took my Aunt yesterday to show her around my town. The closing time is 5 PM, but the security at the gate stopped people into the center at 4.55 PM. Everyone that stood outside in the line were so disappointed including me. This is so new to me, as someone that have lived in this town for about 20 years, do not remember centers closing prior to the announced time.

So please go there at least 20-30 minutes before closing, the securities constantly changes their plan to take their last guest. Expect long `15-20 minutes wait during summer.

“If you're short on time you can peek in the window”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

There is a viewing window near the back of the building where the bell is located. After tours end for the day, a recorded narration is available at the push of a button. The recording is disabled during tour hours. However, if you just don't have time to wait to go inside, the view from the window is pretty good and very few visitors seem to realize this option is available.

“History”
Reviewed 20 June 2014 via mobile

We visited the centre and found the information throughout excellent. A small line to wait for photos at the bell, but overall a good visit.
