The downside to this stop was the long line waiting to get in and the crowds. It was very crowded but this piece of history was worth the wait and its free. I guess the best piece of advice is to get there early. You will be checked at the entrance by guards but it’s not that bad. This attraction does not require a ticket like Liberty Hall. The bell is inside out of the weather and there is plenty of information about the bell inside as well. This is on piece of history that you can get very close to. Everyone wants a picture in front of the bell, so just be patient and wait your turn. This stop, if there is no line will take you less than an hour.

It is just a bell after all, but it was great to finally see it. The museum in which the bell is housed contains a very thorough history of the bell, so it was very informative. It's a definite bucket list item for any history buff. The line was not very long, at about 20 minutes, so that was a plus, but I think the overcast weather and early June date had something to do with it. I imagine the wait could get quite long at peak times of the year.

Go early in the morning as you will have to stand in line to go through security. The earlier you go the shorter the line. It is certainly worth your time. It's amazing how much a simple bell means to a nation and its people.

A beautiful history preserved very well.

Liberty Bell Center is a place I had always visited with my friends and family. Took my Aunt yesterday to show her around my town. The closing time is 5 PM, but the security at the gate stopped people into the center at 4.55 PM. Everyone that stood outside in the line were so disappointed including me. This is so new to me, as someone that have lived in this town for about 20 years, do not remember centers closing prior to the announced time.

So please go there at least 20-30 minutes before closing, the securities constantly changes their plan to take their last guest. Expect long `15-20 minutes wait during summer.
