just a block down from the Philly Art museum, this jewel was recently restored. it is a great idea, well realized from some kind city families of about a century ago. Rodin is a genius and this location has numerous examples worthy of some time. a half-hour spent here is a significant respite. well worth the effort.

A worthwhile experience. Unlike many places the queue was quite short, almost non existent. That is a big plus. 9 euro entry was very reasonable. The first part has many examples of Rodin's work. But then you walk out of this small space and have two fabulous spaces to explore. The first is the large building that was once the hotel Biron. In this beautiful building are two floors of Rodin's work and a few surprises- a couple of Van Gogh paintings, a Monet etc. The best is definitely the large and stunning garden with Rodin's major works dotted throughout eg the Thinker, Balzac etc. You can stroll here in a relaxed way and not feel crowded and pushed. Excellent museum.

The only major Rodin collection outside of Paris. Serene, beautiful setting in a wonderful area of the city. A nice walk, even if you aren't an art lover.

A small intimate collection that is well worth it. Amazing one man was able to accumulate so much of his work and had the means to provide for its display.
