This hotel has a very friendly staff, and clean accommodations. We visited the Franklin Institute for the Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit, just a few blocks from this hotel. Nice little fountain in the square and a Catholic basilica across the street, both worth a visit. Also visited the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts, another reasonable walk from the hotel. If you are walkers the Philadelphia Museum of Art is a little under a mile, with the Barns Foundation and Rodin gallery along the way.
Back to the Logan. The rooftop bar and restaurant had great views of the city. They serve only small plates but the food was good. Breakfast was fine also. As mentioned in some other posts this hotel is a bit pricey. The dinning room is an Ala-cart steakhouse. We had the three steak sampler - $66 and shared a couple of side, My son and his wife did the same. Steaks were great and the sides were enough for every one to share. Grand kids had hamburgers..Total around $325+, plus tip. Wait staff was very accommodating with friendly service. There are restaurants in vicinity, prices and cuisine vary. This is a high end hotel, but very convenient to the attractions we were interested in seeing, mainly the art galleries. Drove in and then out, no need to use the car while we stayed there. If you don't mind paying to be pampered; this is the place to be.

Room Tip: Ask for a courtyard view at a higher floor.

Stayed here for 4 nights with husband and adult daughter, had a good sized king bed room with fold up bed for daughter which was comfortable. Had room at front with big window looking onto Logan square with views down parkway to Art museum and Franklin institute. Very nice hotel, only gripe would be expensive breakfast in restaurant area with not huge choice, I personally prefer less formal buffet type breakfast with lots of choice. Lots of alternatives for breakfast outside as the area is full of deli's and restaurants doing breakfast. Requested a bottle opener but one could not be found and even though hotel was very busy with a wedding, someone came up to room to open it for us! Roof top bar gives great views down parkway. Rooms very clean, great shower, free wi fi.great Sentra hotel, walking distance to all the big sites, great city to visit.

Room Tip: Request room looking out to Logan square for best views

Prime location for walkability and Philly access. Super nice staff. Nice perks such as a free daily New York Times in the lobby. Room had enough space but common amenities such as toiletries (one bar for sink and shower), electrical plugs (only on one side of the bed), need to be improved.

As Diamond Member of HIlton Honos, I got treated very well at this hotel. Room upgrade accordingly - very nice room over looking Parkway. Staff was very couteous and helpful with smile. Facility was well maintained and clean.
Only wish I had this stay was that the restaurant was very busy; and it took really long time to get waiter after seated. But this is not directly negative part to the hotel stay itself.
I will stay at this hotel when I visit Philadelphia for sure.

My high school son was touring Penn last week and we stayed at The Logan. Wonderful corner room with plenty of space, amazing food at Urban Farmer, very helpful staff and tremendous location between City Hall and the Art Museum. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very expensive...particularly for dinner. However, we had some evening appetizers and breakfast the next morning and the food was wonderful.

This was my 2nd stay at The Logan and can't wait to return!
