We were in the area for a lacrosse tournament and had a party of ten. We waited about 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon to be seated - not unreasonable at all. Once seated the wait staff did a great job making suggestions and taking our drink orders. Our table ultimately ordered many different items from the menu. Without hesitation the french toast was the biggest hit, their hamburgers second and omelets last - but absolutely no one left disappointed or hungry. Portions were huge and each brought with it amazing flavors that exceeded expectations. In fact, my son ate my wife's leftover hamburger (cold) for breakfast the next morning because 'it would be a crime for it to go to waste' ~ his words! They've done a great job inside with comfortable seats and tables even though the space is narrow.
The only negatives are they 1) do not accept credit cards and 2) will not split your check. While our families were prepared with cash in hand and can do our own math to split the bill, you won't know this until you show up. For your convenience they have an ATM in their building which ironically charges you the 'convenience fee' which likely makes them some extra coin. This didn't effect our meal or satisfaction because we were prepared.
Without hesitation we will make this a stop if we happen to be in Philadelphia again!
