We stayed four nights at the Windsor Suites, and it was a lovely stay. It's so well-situated that we were able to walk everywhere. We are good walkers, so not everyone would probably find this as do-able as we did, but we walked to the Independence Square area, we walked to the Barnes Foundation and the Art Museum, and we walked down to the Rittenhouse district. I was in town to attend a conference at the Convention Center, and that complex is a short three-block walk. PLUS, if you take the train from the airport, the train station is just a two block walk! Truly, this hotel could not have been better situated.
The hotel staff was so kind and accommodating -- we arrived before check-in, and we stayed in town for several hours after check-out, and they were so nice about holding our luggage. In addition, the room was huge -- with a full kitchen: fridge, micro, and a Keurig coffee machine! Bathrooms are roomy, with a nice ledge and mirror outside of the bathroom itself (which helped because there were three of us to a room). A full closet, comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, not to mention a tasty Irish pub (Con Murphy's) in the ground floor -- between drinks, meals, and desserts, we visited that pub six times in four days!
If we ever return to Philly, we will definitiely stay here!More
