“Let's Stroll and the Eat”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

I adore period squares and circles too as Philadelphia features both. Somehow I imagined architecture more like Beacon Hill in Boston...I was wrong. Nevertheless the green-space was calming and the usual memorial statues suitable. The more interesting restaurants are located on the feeder streets to the square. A huge choice of ethic favorites. We opted for Sushi.

“Lively area, high end shops”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

Strolling around the Walnut st area on a sunny later afternoon near this square was pleasant and enjoyable.

Even if you can't afford to buy anything, just being in the area and absorbing the atmosphere was delightful.

“Relaxing”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

I took my lunch here and sat on a bench and just relaxed for an hour.. Pretty nice place to go if your feet are hurting and you just want to take a load off for a few minutes.

“Worth seeing, but not a detour”
Reviewed 15 July 2014 via mobile

Green, calm oasis worth seeing if you are nearby, if you are lucky there will be musicians busking to ad atmosphere. It is marginally the best in the centre of town.
