it was excellent. Great, interesting audio and the paintings were fabulous. We also visited the impressionist art afterwards in the regular exhibit and saw some great Monets, Manets, Pisarros and more...loved it. A great bargain too.

The building and setting are lovely and on a bright sunny day it is well worth the walk to the museum. The Van Gogh special exhibit was really special and we are very glad that we came down to Philadelphia for the weekend to see it. The permanent collect has some wonderful pieces and be sure to see the American collection which is a bit of a wonder off the main stairs

The collestion here is eclectic and superb. My kids love the armory section, I like the contemporary exhibits. The views from the front steps are delightful.

We came for the Van Gogh exhibit and spent some time visiting other sections of the museum. A must see if you're in Philadelphia. If you park in the garage behind the museum, make sure you take your ticket with you to get it stamped for a discounted rate of $10 for 4 hours.

We went last week to view the Van Gogh exhibit. The exhibit was fantastic! Though crowded, the exhibit was well organized and the employees of the museum were just pleasant and helpful.

The building that houses the museum is absolutely beautiful. Parking was easy. We found plenty of parking available directly in front of the museum stairs (it was mid-week however). We had purchased our tickets before arriving so we had them in hand when we entered. It helped because we were immediately handed wrist bands when we got inside the doors and didn't have to wait to get inside.

Beyond special exhibits, there is so much to see. You can easy spend the entire day strolling around exploring the museum. There is something for everyone!

The audio tours they offer are also really great. They are available in special exhibits and also can be used on a lot of the existing art permanently inside the museum. Give it a try, they are an excellent tool in learning more about the art.

The gift shops inside offer some really fantastic mementos and gifts. Plus, if you get hungry there is a small cafe inside and a very nice restaurant inside.

Going to the Philadelphia Museum of Art is always a great experience. I recommend it highly. I can't wait to go back myself! Also, don't miss out on all the great Philadelphia restaurants in the area.
