“Just the best”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

Living in Philadelphia we are really spoiled but fine museums and this is the cream of the crop for kids. Spend and entire day and just enjoy watching your kids run wild and learn simultaneously. It is unique to Philadelphia and should be appreciated.

“A fun experience for all ages”
Reviewed 17 August 2014 via mobile

My son and I visited this building and we were far from disappointed. There were great visuals to help adults and children alike learn the material that was being shown. Also there were several interactive exhibits the sparked interest and curiosity with those who visited it.

“Not just for kids”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

Had a blast (literally) at this premier interactive science mecca. More than a museum, it's more like a fun laboratory, and suitable for all ages (except perhaps for the very young). Had teenagers in our group who loved the circus exhibit where they could test their own skills in aerial acrobatics! Loved the newly opened Brain exhibit. Take a pass on the Fractals show; it was neither educational nor entertaining. Not just my opinion - the only ones left in the planetarium for that after the first ten minutes were those who were sound asleep! Loved the liquid air show and electrical demonstrations.

“An excellent science center.”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

The Franklin Institute provides excellent exhibits for all age groups. We visited the museum two straight days which was our plan. Unfortunately, the second day was extremely crowded due to weather conditions (a rainy day), lots of campers and lots of families. Their parking garage was full which required us to park on the street. If possible, try to pick a less crowded day. Their cafeteria was very good and their staff is very friendly and helpful.

“Enjoyed myself a lot more than I thought”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

I went to The Franklin Institute as it was part of the Philadelphia City Pass. I enjoyed it so much. The brain exhibit was my favourite. A lot of stuff to do for both kids and adults. The life size brain was a lot of fun to. Education made fun. I spent five hours there total. The food area is great with lots to read and learn while taking a break. There was a nice selection of food with a lot of healthy options.
