“Best Location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

I was in Philadelphia for a Convention and needed a Hotel close to the convention center. The location was perfect. It was no more than a 2 minute walk. There were so many restaurants around the Hotel it was hard to decide where to eat. Everything was within walking distance. The Hotel had everything you will need, a kitchen that comes in handy since there is reading market across the street if you want to eat in. If you have business at the convention center than this is where you want to stay.

This hotel was a great find-the rooms are mini suites fully equipped with everything you would need(except maybe a bath). Very modern and fresh, well designed and well located. Free wifi, breakfast and all day tea/coffee with Reading Terminal market across the street for food-what more could you need? It was an easy walk to Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, close to restaurants, close to shopping. We ate at the market at Molly Molloys and can highly recommend the food and service there. Great atmosphere too. The hotel doesn't offer a daily maid service but every day the maid would ask us if we needed anything and if we wanted her to clean. All we really need daily are the bins emptying and maybe loo roll topping up so this didn't bother us at all and was better than being woken up! All up a great place to stay and we really liked the concept.

We enjoyed the modern luxuries that this hotel offered and my advice about parking: the hotel is next door to parking lot..pay parking for yourself..hotel upcharges $10 per day for same parking...across street from convention center and foodie market...walking distance to the underground mall on market street, chinatown, and plenty of hip bistros and bars up the street and in 13th street around the corner..See the city, catch the hop on/hop off tour buses a few steps away to see the city sites while your car is safely parked for a reasonable charge right next to the hotel...great value for the money..

Across the street from the market
Convention Center right there!
History to see within walking distance
Nothing but good things to say about our hotel stay!
Daryl found us an excellent room!
Leigh checked on any room needs we may of have.
WIFI... breakfast... spacious room...friendly staff
would stay there AGAIN!
...if you have kids *note no bathtub
...we heard parking is expensive, but, we walked everywhere
...traffic can be loud if your room overlooks the street

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the location of this hotel. This new concept of accommodation is great. Hilton has hit a "home" run with this new brand.

This hotel has all the comforts of home such as free wifi, free breakfast and on site laundry machines. Kitchen with full size fridge, microwave and dishwasher, and free all day coffee & tea in the lobby.

The condition of the hotel is good to new. Design is sleek and modern . Everything is designed to be energy and cost efficient . The lights turn off on its own after a set time . There's only light housekeeping each day and a full cleaning every 5th day. There are no little bottles of toiletries , you get dispensers with neutrogena stuff built into the wall.

There a bar and a Panera Bread downstairs and the area is surrounded by tons of restaurants . It's a 10 min. walk to the Thomas Jefferson Hospital where I was going. You can't beat the location.

Even tho this hotel is rated 2 1/2 stars in class, I can tell you that it's better than most 4 star hotels out there . So what if it doesn't have a spa and a 5 star restaurant on site (btw, they have a indoor saline pool ).

Highly recommended. I'm sold.

We travelled from New Jersey to Philadelphia for 2 days and 1 night to sightsee and hang out.

This hotel is right across the street from Reading Terminal Market, so we headed to the market shortly after checking in! Wow, love that place.

The one HUGE plus about this hotel is that it is centrally located, so we were able to park the car and walk everywhere. We walked all the way to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which is about 2 miles away, and a wonderful stroll past quite a few landmarks. We also walked all the way in the other direction to the Liberty Bell, Penn's Landing, the Christ Church, and other attractions. We never moved our car! But parking is not cheap, so be prepared to pay. I think our parking was $65 or so for the entire time, but well worth it. We even took our luggage to the car after check-out and went sightseeing, so I'm sure that there were some additional charges for that extra time in the parking garage - but once again, well worth it!

There was also a nice FREE breakfast area in the lobby, but we didn't not eat there because we got addicted to the Amish bakery in Reading Market Terminal, so we went and bought breakfast foods there.

We were quite pleased, enjoyed our stay there, and would definitely return if visiting Philly - nice employees at lobby desk, and a very clean hotel that's conveniently located in a central location. The kitchenette in the room was also a plus...
