Eulogy never disappoints, but stick to the basics: mussels, beer, frites, beer, and more beer. Get small orders of mussels if you can't decide on one and try them all!

I visited pubs during a holiday in Belgium and I was interested in trying out one of the Belgian pubs in Philadelphia. If you are a beer lover like me, Euology is going to be a paradise on earth. The beer menu had a very extensive choice of American and Belgian beers. Me and my brother ahd ordered. I ordered a burger with fries and this burger was the best burger I have ever had and the fries were cooked to perfection. The only downside is that the pub is a bit on the small side. If you like good beer and good food this definately somewhere worth visiting if you are in Philadelphia.

We arrived in Philadelphia late afternoon and after a brisk longish walk around the strike closed local public buildings headed for the Eulogy. It did not disappoint; a lively atmosphere in the early evening, a great selection of beer on tap, fast efficient service and great mussels; the perfect stimulus after a flight from Europe. A brisk walk back to the hotel and a good nights sleep!

This is such a great place for friends or family and everyone in between. If going, be sure to try a mussel dish. I had the Hoegaarden variety and was pleased, but I would try the traditional version next time. Really great atmosphere and the owner or PR person was extraordinary getting us a table in a packed restaurant/bar.
