“Contemporary take on the Classic American diner”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 via mobile

Great food after a long day exploring Philly. The Philly cheesesteak wanton appetizer was delicious and the marathon burger very tasty and filling. Service was efficient and attentive. Well worth a visit and very family friendly.

“Great Food!”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

We read reviews and decided to check out Marathon and we were not disappointed. All the food was really good. The Mac & Cheese was the best. We ended up eating a lot of the kids Mac & Cheese.
Prices are decent also. ~$60 for 3 adults and 2 kids with a drink or 2 and tip.

Gluten free breakfast options include hash browns, eggs and bacon! Fresh squeezed OJ. Ask for the manager and they will make certain to provide safe gluten free and allergy free foods.

“Great dessert”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for quite a while, however every time I try to make a lunch reservation they are booked for about 2 months in advance. One night while walking around I decided to stop in for dessert and it was delicious!

I had the banana bread pudding, which came with ice cream, caramel, and cream. The banana bread pudding was actually like homemade banana bread. I would definitely get this dessert again and this also confirmed I still want to get here one day for lunch.
