Before my son was born, my husband and I started visiting ballparks along the east coast. We had the opportunity to visit Citizens Bank Park for both a tour and game.
We have been to a handful of ballparks for tours and this tour was probably one of my favorites. It was the longest and most thorough tour we have been on. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we could tell that he genuinely loved his job and the team.
Following the tour, we went to a game vs the NY Mets. I have heard a lot of complaints made against Phillies Fans (especially when they play the Mets) as being aggressive and mean spirited. We did not see or experience any of that. I really thought that the fans were so spirited and energetic. We had fantastic seats along the third baseline.
The ballpark itself is clean, well maintained, and a great place to see a baseball game. And come on, they the Phillies have probably the best mascot in the MLB so how could you beat that!
