This hotel was the perfect location for our first visit to Philly. It is within walking distance of most of the historical landmarks. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby also. The hotel itself is very quaint and clean. The staff is very welcoming and willing to offer help with a smile. Complimentary breakfast with a good selection of choices for most everyone.
The lobby was very comfortable and inviting, with tea and cookies available in the afternoon. The tea was a very nice treat after walking around in the rain and cold all day.
Did not like that there was no safe in the room so we did not have the maid come in for security reasons. Also was a hassle to park out front just to check in due to limited parking. After checking in, you have to drive a block over to park in a parking structure for a fee. No valet available.

I stayed there for 3 days. A very nice and historic place. Staff made everything easy with directions. Parking is a bit of a pain but compared to Chicago or New York a Bargain at $16.00. Only problem we had and not the hotels fault or problem, was construction across the street. We were awaken at 7:30 by a earth shaking jack hammer breaking up a brick court yard directly across the street all 3 days of our stay. Breakfast was good and wine reception on Wednesday was nice. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Location to American history can't be beat. I will stay there any time I'm in Phili.

The hotel is in a historic building. Small...more like a boutique hotel. Clean, clean, clean. Everything we needed for two adults and two kids in the room. Smack dab in the center of Independence Park.

The Best Western Plus Independence Park Hotel proved to be the perfect choice for us to walk to most of the tour busses, museums, historical sites and hear lectures by officials in the historical backgrounds of constitution, history of founding fathers and to participate in local food culture at it's finest. The lobby furniture was perfect for lounging after a day of touring and listening to lectures. The hotel furnished some extras which made the lobby very comfortable for all the guests. The computer was located in a location that was convenient and we were able to transact our business for the day. Breakfast was especially pleasant with beautiful surroundings and great food. The service was by friendly, responsive ladies who earned our tips.
