This restaurant was great. We found out at the end of our meal that we were dining there on their final night open. During dinner, out the window we saw men moving kitchen supplies, this should have been an indication to us that something was happening. Apparently they have other locations in New Jersey and Delaware.

“Great food but dead restaurant - no booze”
Reviewed 2 June 2013 via mobile

The food was outstanding - better curry than we can find in DC. But the place was dead even though it was a holiday weekend. No alcohol at all which might put off some. I'd go back though as the curry was superb. Great for takeaway I would expect.

“A special spot”
Reviewed 15 April 2013

The atmosphere is elegant and yet casual dress is appropriate. The food was really really good. The nan was freshly baked and the palak panir some of the best ever and we've eaten in many Indian restaurants! The price was absolutely appropriate for the quality of the meal! Serving staff friendly and efficient.

“Good place to center yourself after a busy day shopping”
Reviewed 4 April 2013

Palace at the Ben is a nice place to land after shopping at the Gallery. The location is also convenient for tourists on a schedule. The staff was welcoming. The food was better than good Indian fare. Our group was divided, meat eaters and vegetarians. Everyone enjoyed their selections. The one thing to be aware of is, the bill is going to reflect the restaurant's address.
