We selected this place based on the TripAdviros ratings and the BYOB aspect. Upon arrivng, we were seating promptly and from there on, service was just as great. The menu is limited to about 5 appys and 5 entrees but they had 2 or 3 specials appys and 4 or so special entrees. My pork dish, essentially pulled form a whole roasted pig over lentils with a poached egg on top was very good. My wife thought her dish, which was pork belly with root veggies was somewhat sour. I had to admit, that while I liked the taste of the dish, I could see it being a little off-putting to some.

Has to be among my favorite restaurants now! Do wish they had a bar, however. Every item served exceeded expectations in taste, prep, and presentation. Outrageously good fried oysters on crunch bed of "slaw"?, liver croquettes so delicate and amazing rich sauce; special suckling pig entree (surprisingly lean and no fat - like short ribs only lighter - just delicious) - duck breast entree was best we ever had - gorgeous blackened grilled edge with succulent medium rare inside - just amazing - fantastic bread pudding for dessert. Can't wait to go back and order it all over again!; Casually dressed patrons - comfortable place in older architecture - original tile floor - could use some work - shabby chic appearance.Husband was wanting his usual espresso - alas- they do not have any.

Wow, just wow. Everything was simply amazing. The lamb shank was my second favorite to date (2nd to Orso in Anchorage). I will be back... soon.

This small neighborhood spot offers great service, a creative menu and delicious food. The menu, while limited, will not disappoint. This is not a place you go to impress others...Only your palettes and to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Small restaurant, small menu, pork served imaginatively, nicely presented and delicious. Duck, seafood and beef choices also available and delicious desserts. Prices on the high side but balanced by BYOB policy. You need to bring cash as credit cards not accepted.
