My husband is a Philly native. We travel back to the area once or twice a year but had never stayed at the Rittenhouse. The history, great service and prime location added up to make sure we never stay anywhere else. We moved around a lot during our 4 weekday stay but lots of small touches such as live orchids in each room and the welcoming comfort of the Library Bar made us happy to return after each outing. Highly recommend!

We have been wanting to stay at this hotel for a long time. We finally made our first trip to Philly and took advantage of our Leading Hotels of the World membership at The Rittenhouse. We have not been disappointed!

The hotel has a more traditional old world vibe which we enjoy. And the service from the front desk to room service to housekeeping to the restaurants is impeccable!

And the location on Rittenhouse Square can't be beat. Much of the city's high end shopping and wonderful dining options are in walking distance. The Square also has weekend festivals throughout the fall.

A bit expensive but if you enjoy five star accommodations the only choice in Philadelphia.

Our stay was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. The staff was helpful and accomodating. We were so glad we chose The Rittenhouse Hotel! Also, the park across the street is a beautiful and calming asset. We intend to stay again in the future.

We had an outstanding two nights at the Rittenhouse Hotel. We booked a one bedroom suite through Leading Hotels of the World using a free night credit for a king room for our first night. Not only did the hotel upgrade us to a two bedroom two bathroom suite for our paid night, but they extended that courtesy to our "free" night as well. Needless to say the room was beautiful with a dining room, fully stocked minibar and espresso machine, and three tv's.
At breakfast the second morning we saw that the graciousness of the hotel staff extends beyond the paying guests. A woman came in to the restaurant who by her dress was clearly homeless. I overheard our waiter saying to her, "welcome back" as he filled her water glass. We later saw the woman with her tattered suitcase sitting on a bench in Rittenhouse Square. We truly understood the term "City of Brotherly Love".

The Rittenhouse is a well appointed hotel across the street from the square of the same name. It's rooms are very large and have a classic decor. Although there was probably another way to arrange the space in my room since it was recently remodeled, it provided every expected amenity in a first class hotel and the staff members were very helpful and friendly. In particular, their Library Bar had very good service.

Thank you for staying with us! I will certainly pass your comments along to our team, especially those in the Library Bar. It is truly a wonderful place for a well made drink in an intimate atmosphere.

We hope to see you again very soon...
