We thought we could stop by this local restaurant without a reservation and be seated without any problem on a Saturday night. The ONLY reason that was true was because it was quite early and luck was on our side. This place has attracted quite a following, and it grew quite busy, adversely affecting the efficiency of the service. Regardles, the service was still very personal and congenial. The food was terrific and unusual. My husband tried the lamb chunks in a bed of mashed eggplant. Delicious and different! I had Iskender kebab, which is thin slices of doner over fried bread, topped with tomato sauce & accompanied with a side of fresh yogurt. Strong coffee and a shared tasty plate of baklava completed this yummy meal.
